Paula has always felt the need to create! Perhaps a calling beginning in church as suggested in the tattered, yellowed artwork found in her Great Aunt’s Bible that reads, “Pretty good for a four year old!” Although, her love of art continued, Life took off in other directions while she followed her now retired State Trooper Husband, Terry across Missouri while raising their two children. Paula retired as Vice President of Residential Lending after a 30 year career. She now can pursue the desires of her heart and has taught the past five years teaching watercolor and other medium painting techniques locally.
Additionally, Paula continues her love for travel and capturing watercolored beautiful landscapes around the world. Paula’s development of her “Thou ART! She continues her art watercolor education with Jane Jones, Dallas, Texas. Other classes taken have been with Instructor, Audrey Bottrell. Other influential teachers are Kathleen Conover, Fealing Lin, Carole Hillsbery, Tom Lynch and most recently, Kathie George.
