Sharon Warren

Sharon is an award winning artist who loves to capture the beauty of creation sometimes with a different flare.  Her works range from extreme abstaction in acrylic to watery drippy watercolors.  “Mixed media is my favorite style because I love the joy and freedom in using everything to arrive at a completely fingerprinted creation.

I am self taught but have taken workshops with Carol Frye, Paul Jackson, Fealing Lin, Bev Jozwaik and Carol Hillsbery.  I am greatly influenced by the works of Bill James, Jean Pederson Gerald Brommer, Jean Haines and Nicholas Simmons. A juried member of the Missouri Watercolor Society, The Southwest Watercolor Society, The National Oil and Acrylic Society, and Springfield Visual Arts. Sharon is represented by the Obelisk Gallery of Springfield, Mo.
