Kintsugi is the 14th Century Japanese art of mending broken bowls. The workshop will explore the history of kintsugi and the concepts that flow from it.  It is a beautiful metaphor for bringing beauty from brokenness. We will begin by breaking the bowls and then carefully work through a creative process of mending that culminates in the striking "gold" line work.
