An Oldie but a Goodie…and back by popular demand! We’ll be painting the Red Pickup Truck in this session. I snapped a few photos of a 1950 GMC Farm Pickup in near Taos, NM a few years ago. I was intrigued by the interesting colors baked by the desert sun. & the textures of the weathered wood panels. Come hop in and I’ll steer you through the fun process of layering colors & textures, I’ll point you in the right direction how to paint the illusion of glass, weathered wood slats, dings, dents and flat tires resting in the weeds. I’ll share my roadmap how I journeyed from a photo to a painting.
